RAIDERS WIN THEIR FOURTH STRAIGHT SHAW CUP!
The Kelowna Raiders Senior Men’s Lacrosse team came from a 5 to 1 first period deficit to defeat the Kamloops Rattlers 8 to 5 in Kamloops to capture the Shaw Cup once again. The Raiders swept their second and final playoff series to go undefeated in 16 games. They shut down the fast-breaking Kamloops offence with a tough man on man defence and sensational goaltending from Cam Needham. Ryan Spring and Pho Heng led the offensive effort with three goals and two goals respectively.The Raiders will represent the Thompson/Okanagan League in upcoming Provincials being held in mid August in Armstrong.They will be defending their two time gold medal championships against teams from all over the province.
