Kelowna Raiders 9, Kamloops Rattlers 11

Kamloops goaltender Stu Ford put the brakes on a Raider comeback in the 3rd period stopping 41 shots in total for the evening. The first period saw the Rattlers take a 5 to 1 lead then in the second both teams scored 4 and in the third the Raiders outscored the Rattlers 4 to 2 while peppering goaltender Ford with 18 shots.

Scoring for the Raiders were Darcy Rhodes with a hat trick, Victor Wiens and Quentin Harrish each with pairs and singles from Matt Gorges and Will McIntosh. For the Rattlers is was Mark Jurista with the hat trick, AJ Lockwood, Blair Lockwood, Blane Beam and Rily Pederson each with pairs.

This was the last regular season game for both clubs, each team winning a game at home. The Raiders end up in second place in league standings going into the playoff tournament on July 12, 13 and 14 in Armstrong. Kamloops has opted out of the final tournament to leave Armstrong, Vernon and Kelowna to vie for the championship of the league.
