2017 Season Game # 1

Friday, April 21 at Kamloops Memorial Arena

Kamloops Sr. Rattlers 11, Kelowna Sr. Raiders 5

In the opening game of the 2017 season, the Kelowna Raiders were unable to contain the fire power of the Kamloops shooters. The Rattlers dominated ball possession all night with Kelowna goaltender Graham Cousins making 44 saves while Kamloops goalie Mike Smith only had to make 14. Kamloops defenders stymied the Kelowna players all game, not allowing any penetration to the net area, and consistently controlled the loose balls. For Kelowna it was Pho Heng with a pair and singles added by Jacob Illichmann, Joe Brown and Ryan Lindstrom.
